Black Pear Walking Tours always arrange good quality accommodation for our customers, knowing the importance of welcoming, clean and comfortable facilities at the end of your walking day.

Accommodation booked for our customers is a mixture of B and Bs, small hotels and ‘pubs with rooms’. They are all of good quality and recommended. As far as is possible, en-suite bathrooms are provided, although it is not always possible in some locations with restricted choice. It is usually possible to upgrade accommodation if you wish to do so and we will do everything we can to accommodate your choice.

Dogs … are part of a walk for many people and you may wish to bring your dog on your Black Pear Walking Tour. If so, please advise us in advance and we will make special arrangements. Most accommodation will have rooms for well-behaved dogs for a small daily supplement.

Meals are of course a vital element of any walking holiday. All our accommodation includes a full English breakfast to start your walking day. Lunchtime stops are often available on our walks but if there is nowhere suitable, provisions can usually be purchased locally or provided by your accommodation. For evening meals, there will be recommended locations near your accommodation, or in-house meals where there are no suitable local alternatives.

Any questions?

If you have any questions about any of the above please get in touch with us. We are always pleased to speak directly to customers and will answer as quickly and accurately as possible in order to make your walking holiday as enjoyable as possible.
